Articles - Photo Challenge September 2012
Steve Young - Posted on 08 Aug 2012
It’s time to get out in the wind and rain for this month’s challenge. We want to see images of birds in obvious bad weather: water dripping off feathers, birds flying through raindrops or on the water in a thunderstorm – anything that portrays the adverse conditions in which birds often have to survive. But no snow shots please; that will be another challenge for you in the coming months. Email your images to editorial@birdwatch.co.uk.
This is a good example of birds in bad weather; a flock of Sandwich Terns all bill-pointing
to the sky while the rain pours down. Photo by Steve Young (www.birdsonfilm.com).
