BioBlitz @ RSPB Dove Stone, Greenfield, Nr. Oldham, OL3 7NE
6 to 7 July 2012
Join us on Saturday 7 July for this free large-scale wildlife event at one of the RSPB's newest reserves. Dove Stone is on the northern edge of the beautiful Peak District and is a 'honey-pot’ of biodiversity, and yet is considered 'under-reported' in conservation terms. Our aim therefore is to record as many species as possible over 24 hours, with the help of the general public and specialists. For a fun day out with a serious purpose it'd be great if you could come along and let us know what you see. On the evening of Friday 6th we'll also have moth trapping and bat walks.
