Despite the impending downpour forecast for Sunday, I ventured to Farlington Marshes (near Portsmouth) on Sunday morning to see if the Glossy Ibis was still around. I was not disappointed, although the drizzle did not help in taking photos. Still I managed to get some half-decent shots out of the 200+ I took.

Prior to getting to the Ibis, I happened across a Short-eared Owl that was flying around for a good 5 minutes.

Many thanks,
Mike

Yet more great images! Have you set up a gallery? You  can do so here: http://www.birdwatch.co.uk/gallery/

Hi Rebecca,

Sounds like a good idea to add my photos to the Birdwatch gallery. I shall investigate, and hopefully start using it.

Many thanks,
Mike
