Ian Wallace administers traditional Ugandan rites 1

'Old school' birding stalwart Ian Wallace was called upon to administer traditional Ugandan rites in Swahili for the opening of a new Heligoland trap on the cliff tops at Buckton, East Yorkshire. Why? Well, why not? The trap was named 'Blyth's Trap' after RSPB Investigations Officer Mark Thomas's three-year-old son. See the full video at http://tinyurl.com/swahilinet. This photo first appeared in the July 2012 issue.
