Blurred Mallard

Steve Young, Birdwatch Photo Consultant, writes: It might “only” be a Mallard, but this image by Brian Cartwright perfectly illustrates the use of a slow shutter speed to show movement; the head is sharp, but the flapping wings have become almost a blurred arc. A lower angle would have produced an even better image, but this is pretty good and wins this month's Photo Challenge, congratulations Brian and many thanks to all the other entrants.
