Japan

Japan is like no other country, and this extensive tour offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience its traditions and culture combined with excellent birding. Antarctica: Cape to Cape

This amazing tour commences in Argentina, then visits the Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, Tristan da Cunha and Inaccessible Island, before flying back from Cape Town. It takes in three continents, nine species of penguin and perhaps 20 of cetacean, while the number of albatross and petrel species seen will be phenomenal. This is surely the ultimate Southern Ocean birding itinerary.

Syria

This underwatched and unspoilt country is home to the Middle East’s last Northern Bald Ibises, as well as See-see Partridge, White-breasted Kingfisher, Desert Eagle Owl, Iraq Babbler, White-eared Bulbul and Syrian Serin.

Texas and Mexico

Azores

The locally endemic Azores Bullfinch and regionally endemic Atlantic Canary will be among our targets, and we will also search proven rarity hot-spots for vagrants. Nearctic herons, waders and wildfowl are expected annually, and we will also visit Corvo to maximise our chances of American landbirds – the Western Palearctic’s first White-eyed Vireo and second Summer Tanager are among previous finds here. This trip is a must for Western Palearctic listers.
