Site Details
Over the years, Smerwick Harbour has gained a reputation for being one of the most productive sites in Ireland (and the Western Palearctic) for Nearctic waders and wildfowl. Although the entire bay is worth exploring for birds, see Baile an Reannaigh and Murreagh for more detailed directions for those sites.
